"I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever." John 6:51
Like Baptism and Confirmation, the Sacrament of Holy Communion brings us into the fullness of our life in Christ. We receive His true Body and Blood, sanctifying our own bodies and growing in our likeness to Christ.
In order to receive Communion, we must abstain from food or drink (except for water and medicine) for one hour beforehand and not be conscious of serious sin. If one has committed serious sin, please receive the Sacrament of Penance first.
